Bright Brussels

In diesen Tagen findet in Brüssel das Lichterfestival "Bright Brussels" statt. Gestern Abend habe ich das Festival besucht und es ist wirklich ein faszinierender Rundgang durch die Stadt mit ca. 20 fesselnden Lichtinstallationen, die teilweise interaktiv und spielerisch sind und auch musikalisch untermalt. Die Route startet im historischen Zentrum und führt über den oberen Teil der Stadt durch verschiedene Viertel bis zum Halle-Tor. Als ich mit meiner Runde fertig war, war ich ganz erstaunt, dass ich fast 4 Stunden herumspaziert bin, es kommt einem überhaupt nicht so lange vor, da es immer wieder etwas neues zu entdecken gibt. Man spürt wirklich die Magie des Lichts!

These days the festival of light "Bright Brussels" takes place in Brussels. Yesterday evening I visited the festival and it is really a fascinating walk through the city with about 20 captivating light installations, some of them are interactive and playful and also accompanied by music. The route starts in the historical center and leads over the upper part of the city through different quarters to the Hallegate. When I finished my round, I was quite astonished that I walked around for almost 4 hours, it doesn't seem to take that long at all, as there is always something new to discover. You can really feel the magic of light!
